We wanted to release this episode of What’s Up Doc in light of the political drama that happened last week. This episode was recorded before the leadership spill in a time when Turnbull was still PM, Julie Bishop was still Foreign Minister and Tony Abbott hadn’t been offered special envoy for Indigenous Affairs yet.

This interview sheds some light on the kind of political climate that made last weeks shake-up possible. Peter Kennedy who is a veteran political journalist talks about how politicians have become intolerant to unpopular decisions and in turn are so minded with their staff to play that political game that’s adds to political instability.
