On Tuesday 12 September I sat in the Alexander Lecture Theatre and watched the 2017 UWA Student Guild Presidential Debate. Things were pretty chill – the usual kind of stamping, clapping, and cheerleading. I filmed it so that you could watch it too.

Candidates were Megan Lee (STAR), Michael McKenzie (LAUNCH), Scott John (Left Action), and Caleb Holmes (Yes for Marriage Equality).

Filmed and Edited by Ruth Thomas.

Thanks to The UWA Debating Union for hosting the debate, Joshua Cahill for  chairing, Michael Franz for timekeeping.

p.s. apologies for the periods where the visuals cut out (our SD ran out of space)
